As a Nonprofit Life Plan Community, Ginger Cove offers independent living and healthcare options to meet the changing needs of residents.
With two Life-Care options, residents can choose the plan that makes the most financial sense:
- Extensive Life-Care
- Fee-for-Service
There are two costs associated with a Life-Care Community: the entrance fee and the monthly fee.
- The one-time entrance fee is based on the apartment you choose, your contract type (Extensive Life-Care or Fee-for-Service), and whether it will be you or you and a loved one living in the apartment

That’s the security of Life-Care offered at Ginger Cove.
Life-Care is offered to independent living residents at Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), also known as Life Plan Communities. Life-Care covers your independent living residence, community services, amenities, and access to our continuum of on-site care. But there are other significant benefits associated with Life-Care that provide incomparable peace of mind, including:
- Guaranteed access to unlimited care for the entire duration of your residency
- Guaranteed residence for life, even if you outlive your financial resources
- Access to every amenity and service in the community (wellness center, dining, wellness activities, housekeeping, transportation, etc.)
- Potential tax breaks
- A portion of your entrance fee may be refundable if you leave the community for any reason, protecting your estate
Extensive Life-Care Contract
The Extensive Life-Care contract option includes your residence, services and amenities, and priority access to on-site assisted living and skilled nursing care services, should you ever need them, at a predictable monthly payment regardless of your level of care. This contract type reduces concerns about future healthcare costs and protects your assets.
Entrance fees start at:
- $363,729 for our one-bedroom traditional apartment (single occupancy)
- $872,844 for a two-bedroom with den – our largest apartment (single occupancy)
- There is a second-person entrance fee of $25,173
Monthly fees start at:
- $4,870 per month for our one-bedroom traditional apartment (single occupancy)
- $6,847 per month for a two-bedroom with den – our largest apartment (single occupancy)
- There is a second-person monthly service fee of $2,916
FEE-FOR-SERVICE CONTRACT
The Fee-for-Service contract offers priority access to healthcare services, but services are provided at market rate. This contract option is designed for those who have long-term care insurance.
Entrance fees start at:
- $290,983 for a one-bedroom traditional apartment (single occupancy)
- $698,275 for a two-bedroom with den – our largest apartment (single occupancy)
- There is a second-person entrance fee of $20,136
Monthly fees start at:
- $4,140 per month for our one-bedroom traditional apartment (single occupancy)
- $5,819 per month for a two-bedroom with den – our largest apartment (single occupancy)
- There is a second-person monthly service fee of $2,479
