Ginger Cove was selected for an educational pilot program with the Chautauqua Institution entitled “The Path to the Civil War.” Ginger Cove is one of three retirement communities nationwide to participate in the program, others include Kendal at Ithaca in Ithaca, N.Y., and WindsorMeade in Williamsburg, Va.
